Res is a Brooklyn/Stockholm-based artist and curator who works primarily in photography. Res holds a BA from Smith College and an MFA from the Yale School of Art.
Their work has been exhibited in group shows, including at Baxter ST at CCNY, New York; Shulamit Nazarian, Los Angeles and Cashmere Kirkeby, San Francisco. As a founding member of the collective Queering Space they have curated shows at Green Gallery, Yale University and the Fosdick-Nelson Gallery, Alfred University.

Res was a winner of the Baxter Street Camera Club of New York Annual Juried Competition, a recipient of the FLAGS (Fund for Lesbian and Gay Studies) Award from Yale University, shortlisted for the Lucie Foundation Scholarship, and was chosen as an Artist in Residence at Atlantic Center for the Arts. In 2018 Res's book, Towers of Thanks, was a finalist for The Lucie Photo Book Prize.
Currently, Res is a member of the faculty at the International Center of Photography and an adjunct professor of photography at Borough of Manhattan Community College.
